High Street Caffe serves delicious Cajun food in a cozy atmosphere. I had the spinach and goat cheese salad, and a vegetable flat bread. My dining companions had the jambalaya, etouffee, and the blackened chicken with shrimp, scallops, and dirty rice. We all raved about the quality of the food and the size of the portions. A colleague from the South said the food was better than some of the Cajun places he's visited in New Orleans.Our server was fantastic and offered some fabulous suggestions. She took excellent care of us. We had such a great time here!

The staff are some of the kindest wait staff I've ever had. The food is always delicious, and very flavorful. It can be pricey, bit you are paying for what you get. One of the best restaurants in West Chester.

BYO wine on certain days

A bit cramped, but quality Cajun food. Priced accordingly.

Children are definitely welcome, but as others said you may want to consider the space limitations and possible lack of high chair. I am sure you would be bringing the food for the 1 year old with you, so the menu is of no concern. My biggest concern would be that this is sort of a date night type place for adults, so depending on how fussy the kid is, it could really ruin the dinner for others.
